Roundtable on School Access to Naloxone

On August 7th, 2024, HB24-1003, pioneered by two Durango high school students, was passed into law, making opiate antagonists and drug testing strips available on school buses and in school buildings.

MAPDA is proud to have participated in the School Access to Naloxone Roundtable to fight for this change, and support HB24-1003 giving students the right to have naloxone on their person. We must protect our youth.
